Personal Care

Help With Daily Living Skills

Personal Care is a service designed to help families with special needs. An individual may get help if he/she needs assistance with at least two of the following:
- Eating
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Dressing
- Mobility and Transfer

If the individual meets the above guidelines, we can also help with: preparing meals, housework, laundry and shopping. All you have to do is call. The rest is up to us.

First we will schedule an appointment with one of our Registered Nurses to meet you in your home to assess your needs. Secondly, we will establish a plan of care and send the plan to your doctor for approval. At this point a trained, certified personal care aide will come to your home and perform those chores listed in the plan of care. Personal Care Services may be done in connection with one of our other programs This allows the person with special needs to take part in normal, age-appropriate activities and routines. Personal Care is an Arkansas Medicaid Program. If you need a Medicaid card, we can help you apply for one.
