Case Management Program at First Step
Having a child with a disability or being an adult with a disability may be overwhelming at times. The Case Management program at First Step can help you locate services.
At First Step we know that the many local and statewide programs available (each with their own requirements) can be confusing for families.
If you are in the Medicaid Waiver program, a Case Manager will work with you and your family to evaluate your situation and identify your needs. Your Case Manager is also an advocate to ensure that you or your child (or adult) continues to receive the services necessary.
Case Management has been extremely valuable in guiding families as children make the transition from preschool to public school, and as older children leave public schools and venture into the world of adulthood.
