Having a child with a disability or being a person with a
disability may be overwhelming at times. At First Step we
know that the many local and statewide programs available
(each with their own requirements) can be confusing for
families. That's why we're here to help!
A Case Manager will work with you or your family to
evaluate your situation and identify your needs. Your Case
Manager is also an advocate to ensure that you or your
child continues to receive the services you need.
Case Management has been extremely valuable in guiding
families as children transition from preschool to public
school and as older children leave public schools and
venture into the world of adulthood. If you need help
locating services in your Community, we're here to help.
